‘Purattaasi’ takes its toll on meat retail shops, restaurants

The onset of Tamil month ‘Purattasi’ has hit the sales of meat in the city as a majority of the Hindu residents avoid consuming meat during this month as a mark of respect to Lord Vishnu.
