As per the registry of the Tamil Nadu Organ Networking System, the heart was sent to a patient in Fortis Malar hospital in Chennai. The Trichy city police made a green corridor in Thillai Nagar to Trichy international airport to enable the hospital staff to transport the organ in nine minutes.
