Christians in the district have been urged to make use of the Jerusalem Pilgrimage Financial Assistance Scheme of the state government, which provides Rs 20,000 to each individual intending to visit the Holy Land. In a statement, collector K S Palanisamy appealed to the Christian community in the district to make use of the opportunity.
