Even as speculation has been going around that the Trichy International Airport may be renamed after the late former President A P J Abdul Kalam, PMK founder S Ramadoss on Sunday asked the state government to name it after Perumpidugu Mutharaiyar, a king who ruled parts of South India with Thanjavur as its capital.
