The cleaning work in a canal left 35 labourers of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) and a five-year-old girl child admitted to government hospital after they came under an indiscriminate attack by a nest of beetles in a village near Sirukambur on the outskirts of Trichy on Wednesday morning.
